SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within one (1) year of start date. 
• Must obtain BLS certification within 6 months from hire.
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate from a formal training program in cardiac ultrasound and two (2) years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with pediatrics and TEE preferred.
