The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration
· Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital
· AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida
· The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease
The role you’ll contribute: Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. Supports pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.

· Pharmacy Operations
o Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in: •Standard work parameters •Operational programs •Dispensing and compounding systems •Hospital computer systems •Medication ordering systems
o Develops operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services listed below: •Central Pharmacy •IV Room •Delivery •Controlled Substances •Medication history collection, if applicable
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
· Eligible to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state, if applicable
· Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
