Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Financial Analyst II - Accounting!

Role Overview:

• Supports the monthly and quarterly financial statement closing process by preparing financial presentations and reports to various stakeholders within finance as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Designing, analyzing, and reporting financial information, including interpretation of KPI's.
• Works on small to medium sized projects based on current strategic priorities.
• Identifies, summarizes and reports on financial trends impacting corporate financials.
• Collaborates with other stakeholders across finance on process improvements.
• Maintains strong internal controls around data governance.
• Designs financial reports including dashboards and executive summaries.

Key Qualifications:

• Computer skills required include the advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Analytical skills required include the ability to analyze and draw conclusions from financial and statistical data.
• Understanding of key KPI's and the relationship across key financial statements.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience within finance and accounting.

• Ability to work with management staff and handle confidential information.
• Be able to work under pressure and prioritize and make independent decisions.
• Self driven and able to work independently.
• Problem solving skills and the desire to learn.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday
• Location: Hybrid; 3-4 times per year at NYC location
• Reporting to: Team Lead, Accounting
• Pay Range: $80,300.00-$128,400.00
