Job SummaryThe Sterile Processing Technician III is a certified technician whose areas of responsibilities covering decontamination, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to established standards/guidelines. The SP Tech III demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness when working in an in-direct patient care department and addressing the request of the customer or provider.Minimum QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GEDANDCentral Service Technology Course/Or Equivalent Work Experience (at least one year experience in central sterile processing)Licenses & Certifications: One of the following:
