BJC is hiring for Lead Inpatient Coder.   Must have 2-5 years of Inpatient II Coding experience.  This is a remote position. 

At least one of the following certifications is required for this position: 

• CCS, RHIA, or RHIT

Role Purpose

The Lead Inpatient Coder acts as liaison with hospital departments and committees on issues related to coding. This position provides quality improvement monitoring and review of coding activities. This position also serves as a subject matter expert on coding processes, providing instruction and training to junior level staff members.
