Location: 6720 Placid Street, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Hours: Open 7 days per week, 40-hours per week. Weekdays: 7:30AM – 8:00PM. Weekends: 8:00AM – 7:00PM. Supervisor will determine the schedule. On-call to be determined.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enter prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues
Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
Fulfillment of prescription orders
Ability to interpret prescription orders and enter into pharmacy system
Answering the telephone utilizing appropriate etiquette
Documenting interventions and tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
6+ months of experience with insurance claims processing, rejection, and resolution
Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, and the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Ability to work variable shifts which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (Mon-Fri hours: 7:30am - 8pm, Sat/Sun: 8am-7pm)
Preferred Qualifications:
National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Experience with various insurances, pre-approval & authorizations process, and rejections
Sterile compounding experience
6+ months of experience with knowledge of laws and regulations in regards to scope of practice

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
