The role you’ll contribute:
Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care in the physical medicine department under the direction of a Physical Therapist in accordance with FPTA standards.

·Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth’s Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization’s Performance Excellence Program. ·The PT Aide supports the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist to promote the achievement of identified patient outcomes. ·Assists therapist with assigned patients. ·Performs unit tasks supportive to patient care and operations of the department. ·Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers, and visitors.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·High School graduate or equivalent upon hire. ·Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire. ·One hour of Hip & Knee replacement surgery education required within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
