The individual is responsible for familiarizing and learning to assist Labcorp anatomic or clinical pathologists (contributing scientists/principal investigators) on technical aspects of the histopathologic evaluation and reporting of the study by gaining proficiency in the following essential job duties for the applicable test facility:
Learns to supporting pathologists (Labcorp-hired onsite, offsite, remote, adjunct, or independent) for drafting pathology reports
Learns to generate of anatomic pathology report tables from applicable data collection/reporting systems (e.g. Tox Reporting) for inclusion in anatomic pathology reports
Learns to generate reporting templates (e.g. report shell) for pathologists
Learns to insert clinical pathology generated tables in the clinical pathology reports
Learns to provide QC review of pathologist-generated data for completeness and accuracy to the report, to the protocol-requirements, to applicable SOPs, and/or departmental procedures
Learns to provide support for client peer reviewing pathologists, as necessary
For client peer reviews:
Learns to prepare peer review data packets
Other:
Familiarizing and learning proficiency in specific software used in study conduct or reporting

Experience:
Minimum Required:
Prefer 2 years in toxicology, clinical, or CRO environment.
Knowledge of GLP and applicable regulatory requirements is desired.
Computer proficiency, with ability to master PC-based software applications including Microsoft Office Suite programs and specialized data acquisition/analysis/reporting systems is desired.
Ability to accurately read, record, and communicate information; follow written or verbal directions; high attention to detail; excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize workload and problem solve with little or no direct supervision is desired.
III. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses
Recommended:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience. Degree and/or experience in technical writing, document production/publishing, and/or science preferred.
