The role you’ll contribute:
As a converging point person for people, process, and technology, the Manager of Physician Informatics Office Liaisons has a leadership role maximizing the benefits of information systems within AdventHealth while coordinating physician informatics office liaison activities for assigned regions. Acts as a key contributor, working in collaboration with professionals on enterprise-wide technical projects and those related to Provider office staff. Collaborates to enhance systems in support of excellence in patient care, clinical transformation, and establishment of best practices.
The Physician Informatics Office Liaison Manager is an expert in computer science, information technology, and provider office staff workflows and processes. Identifies practice workflow and process improvement opportunities and provides leadership and guidance to improve performance and technology utilization by Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, other physician extenders and staff. Functions as the leader of a team of Informaticists that customize, train, implement, and support with multiple applications, inclusive though not limited to navigation, results and order entry. Mines and monitors data, communicates research findings and has excellent customer service skills. Anticipates the needs of the organization, customers, and team. Manages delivery and Service Level Agreements by guiding incident resolution, problem management, and enhancement tickets for relevant solutions. Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the various stakeholders. Is accountable and proactive to execute upon defined objectives. Acting as a change agent, establishes and maintains positive relationships while leading and working with others.
Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree preferred. Three or more years of IT related experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

•Manages teams to ensure agile and responsive year-round Provider office support within defined Service Level Agreement.
•Performs analysis of project initiatives for scope, resourcing, and timeline requirements.
•Leads technical projects with minimal supervision, including planning, testing, implementation, deployment, support and evaluates the impact and results of the completed project.
•Identifies and engages subject matter experts across departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
•Knowledgeable representative of the office workflow functionality for their customer at operational and department committees.
•Engages, presents, and works effectively with IT leadership and Vendors.
•Managers will routinely and proactively round at office and clinics they support and will actively engage/participate in Go-live activities including go live support. Engages with pilot programs and all projects in collaboration with AIT and the facilities.
•Prepares, updates and tracks department schedules to ensure adequate staff coverage; Proactively collaborates with other managers for resource coverage.
•Reviews, tracks, and ensures key metrics are met; monitors and analyzes aggregated data to identify trends resulting from information technology tools. Identifies barriers and opportunities to improve measurement of and compliance with outcome metrics.
•Develops, reviews and revises policies and procedures.
•Provides direction and support as a member of the management team to maximize clinical systems value within the organization.
•Directs, teaches, guides, and motivates personnel, serving as a resource, effective coach, and positive role model.
•Creates an environment to promote teamwork, strengthens relationships and responds to employee input.
•Identifies and coordinates the management of risk and quality issues that arise, escalating the unresolved problems to the appropriate decision-making bodies, as needed.
•Majority of time on job will be at assigned core location and rounding with staff in their various locales; however, must be able to travel nationally to support major implementations at other AdventHealth facilities. Will work off-duty shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends in order to fully support AdventHealth operations during times of major installs.
•Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office suite experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
•Demonstrates advanced level knowledge of EPIC office staff applications
•Knowledge of other third-party applications that Informatics supports in the office setting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree either upon hire/promotion or within 36 months of hire/promotion.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT, healthcare informatics or equivalent role
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Master’s degree in Healthcare, Informatics, Computer Science or Business administration; all with related healthcare experience
•Project Management experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
•Current valid driver's license in state of primary work locale
•Completion of Epic CLN102 or higher certification within three years and maintenance of certification thereafter if applicable
