JOB SUMMARY:Functions as a patient advocate for surgical patients throughout the preoperative period and provides clerical coordination of Elective Surgical Waiting List in conjunction with the Preoperative Screening Clinic and individual surgical services.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Graduate (or equivalent); College experience preferredWork Experience: 2 years in acute inpatient or ambulatory health care; perioperative experience preferredEquipment Operated: Typical office equipment (computer, copier, fax, etc...)SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills:Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) 'Exceptional Verba
