The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education through an interdisciplinary approach. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. In addition to caring for patients as described above, the Lead Therapist may serve in a mentoring capacity for the therapy staff and oversees day to day operations of the unit or clinic including, staffing, scheduling of patients, regulatory compliance, staff professional development, marketing and physician relations

Evaluates patients, presenting or referred to therapist, by completing initial evaluation within time standards per department protocol.
Consistently demonstrates flexibility as evidenced by floating to other areas, sites and is available to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and after hours.
Responsible to ensure the safety and maintenance of their designated department, including proper monitoring and needed repairs to the Rehab equipment.
Assists in training Physical Medicine & Rehab staff, students, and other hospital personnel.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy or Master’s degree in speech language pathology Master's or Doctorate degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy, preferred
Two years of applicable work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit Previous leadership experience, preferred Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
Current Colorado state licensure in physical therapy OR current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist OR current Colorado state licensure in speech language pathology and Certification of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
