Dialysis Role: Responsible for assembly and operation of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, including cycler and manual (CAPD, CCPD), according to institutional protocols and in adherence with CMS and ODH guidelines.?? Responsible for liposorber pheresis and provision of 24-hour, year-round call coverage whenever dialysis treatment is required.

5. Experience working with various levels within an organization is required.
6. Experience in healthcare is preferred.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
8. Experience working an electronic medical record system (i.e. EPIC) or similar software is preferred.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
2. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio is required.
3. Certification: Certification as a hemopheresis practitioner through ASCP preferred.?? CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) or CDN (Certified Dialysis Nurse) preferred.
4. Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association is required.
5. Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years??? experience in pediatric nursing or apheresis/dialysis specific nursing in an adult or pediatric setting.?? Experience with peripheral and central line IV accession is required.
6. Years of experience in supervising: Leadership experience is preferred.
