The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Program Student Coordinator (CSPC) provides administrative oversight to the AdventHealth Orlando electronic clinical scheduling system (CSS) and supports Information Systems for all affiliated nursing and allied health students. The CSPC facilitates and coordinates the clinical and final practicum placement for all nursing, allied health pre-licensure and allied health pre-certification students of affiliated academic programs across the AdventHealth Orlando System. The CSPC supervises all operational processes including education and training for all users. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Collaborates with key organizational and academic stakeholders for clinical and practicum student placement. Schedules students for clinical rotations.
Adheres to all CSS school log and rotation schedule approval processes and timelines as outlined in AdventHealth Orlando standard operating procedures.
Ensures basic daily functioning of CSS and escalates more complex issues as necessary.
Collaborates with AIT in a timely manner to resolve operational and student access issues.
Ensures organizational documents are manually uploaded, updated and reviewed for accuracy on the CSS. Ensures unit management within the CSS is updated to reflect campus unit changes prior to each scheduling period.
Develops and updates all materials related to the CSS and orientation requirements.
Facilitates initial training of academic, system, and guest users of the CSS.
Resolves all student electronic health record access issues in a timely manner working collaboratively with AIT to improve resolution processes as necessary.
Annually compiles accurate student placement statistics (e.g. clinical, practicum, preceptor hours) and submits all organizational required reports in a timely manner (e.g. Medi-Pass, Flu Shot Compliance).
Gathers information and uses reasoning and evidence to resolve clinical or practicum placement conflicts. Proposes and implements solutions.
Communicates effectively with key organizational and academic stakeholders to resolve conflicts related to scheduling of clinical students or placement of practicum students in a timely, professional manner.
Oversees and manages the onboarding badging process for all new students and faculty in affiliated academic programs
Initiates requests for new affiliation agreements as directed
Collaborates with system teams to schedule students and faculty for additional orientation needs (as applicable)
Collaborates with recruiters, campus, and system leadership teams to support recruitment initiatives through student placement.
Communicates organizational updates in a timely manner.
Participates in system accreditation visits and academic accreditation/advisory board meetings
Participates in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Adult Learning/Education, Healthcare or a Human Resources related field, OR
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a coordinator/administrative assistant
