Position Details:

Location: Carmel, IN and Avon, IN

• 12174 N Meridian Suite 100, Carmel, IN
• 8607 E US Hwy 36, Avon, IN

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday - Avon; Tuesday - Carmel /  No evenings, weekends, or holidays!  

This is a traveling role that includes mileage reimbursement.  Employees will also receive an additional $2.00 per hour on days they travel to an alternate location from their base practice location

Specialty: Foot and Ankle

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instruments
• Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
• Document patient care using electronic medical record software
• Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures 
• Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals and answer patient calls as needed

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Indiana

Preferred Qualifications: 

• CPR certification
• Experience working as an LPN in a family practice setting
• Experience with NextGen or other electronic medical record (EMR) software
• Experience performing medical back-office tasks including injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and administering medications
• Experience performing medical front-office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals
