SUMMARY: Under direction of the department nurse director, provides care to the obstetrical and neonatal patient during the postpartum phase of pregnancy. During the post-partum phase, provides assessments and care of the postpartum patient and neonate, provides education to the mother on care, feeding and security of the infant.
