BJC HealthCare is seeking a Distribution Operations Coordinator which will float around the community sites (Memorial Belleville, Memorial Shiloh, Christian Hospital, Missouri Baptist, West County, Barnes St. Peters, & Progress West). Primary locations will be Progress West (O'Fallon Mo.), and Shiloh Memorial. Mileage will be reimbursed.
This position will be responsible for profile conversion throughout the sites as we convert legacy supply rooms/suites/wavemark over to two-bin kanban. They'll help pull data on usage and par levels, communicate with local supply and clinical teams to set up meetings and go over needs/expectations, build the supply racks and label, and do the physical swap of old to new inventory/fixtures. There may also be basic support at the sites with putaway or other staffing needs as needed, but the primary role is the supply room conversions.
Hours: 8 AM -4 PM M-F

The Distribution Operations Coordinator assists management in the daily operation and services provided by the supply distribution operation. This position helps to identify staffing constraints and assists in coordinating workloads & assignments. This position also serves as a functional expert on inventory management and resource management systems (e.g., Wavemark, Atpar, FLICS, PeopleSoft, etc.) towards managing all par locations across the enterprise. Additionally, the Distribution Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that standard work practices are communicated and followed across the system.
