Summary of Essential Duties:??

• Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal)??
• Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area??
• Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education
• Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns

The shift for this position will be 10:30pm to 7:00am on a rotating schedule consisting of approximately 5 shifts per pay period (every 2 weeks).??

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program required

License/Certifications:

• ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
• Experience in a hospital setting required
• Applicants with less than 3 years of experience may be considered as an Ultrasound Tech I
