Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Palliative Medicine physician to join our growing medical group in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine department. You will work as part of our 18-clinician team in Portland, Oregon. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and palliative care medical skills. Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship training is required.
This is an exciting time to work in the Department of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Northwest Permanente. Kaiser Northwest has its own hospice program, integrated clinic-based palliative care and home-based palliative care, as well as an inpatient consultation service. The opportunities for palliative care clinicians are challenging and varied, and there is broad institutional support for our mission. We place a strong emphasis on a team-first, collaborative approach. In this role, you will practice in a supportive and collegial environment as an essential member of the care team.
We currently support patients at the Sunnyside, Westside, Interstate and Skyline medical centers in the Portland and Salem, OR areas. We prefer to have consistency in scheduling and panel management. For this role, you will primarily work in the Portland Metropolitan area. We also need flexibility to cover locations based on our patient's needs as our team continues to grow. - Salary: $184,500 - $209,520 (.9 FTE - 36 hour work week)
- Additional 21% employer contribution to retirement programs, including pension (This is not a match; NWP contributes an additional 21% of clinician earnings to retirement programs regardless of employee contribution)
- 90%+ employer paid health plan
- Paid annual education leave + $1800.00 annual education allowance
