Position Summary
Seeking an experienced RN coordinator with great technical skills, communication and team work energy. The incumbent will need to be able to work autonomously and collaborative at the same time. If you hold these skills and are looking for a position that will directly impact patient and employee satisfaction; this is the job for you! Days 2-12 hour shifts 8am-8:30pm with hands on training provided! Must have a valid RN license, 2 years RN experience and BLS to be considered.
The Staffing Coordinator Nurse provides data and support as well as collaborates with nursing leadership to ensure dynamic staffing of nursing units focused on the identification, availability, and assignment of the right staff with the right skills at the right time for the right cost in order to meet the care requirements of the patients. This position requires outstanding organizational, time management, communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills.
Education
- Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
- Bachelor?s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of 2 year hospital-based nursing experience. (Required)
- 2 years pediatric nursing experience. (Preferred)
- Previous experience with staffing/scheduling operations and software. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
Special Skills
- Experience in a Windows environment that includes the use of MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. (Required)
