The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration

All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease
The role you’ll contribute: The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading Respiratory Care staff and daily operations to support the mission and goals of AdventHealth. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and re-evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of an assigned group of patients.Specific age groups are described in the position responsibilities. Adheres to and ensures staff adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

·Ensures that performance appraisals are completed on time.Is fair and consistent with employees.Counsels staff and initiates progressive discipline as needed.Regularly monitors staff activities in the clinical setting, ensuring that services are provided in accordance with department / facility policies and procedures.Ensures efficient use of resources. Assures efficient use of labor by reviewing scheduling and staffing needs.
·Acts as a liaison between staff and department leadership and communicates important issues to department leadership on a timely basis.Maintains good working relationships with all customers.Communicates with other healthcare team members.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
·Associate’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
·Three years of experience as an Advanced Critical Care Therapist
·Current, valid State of Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
·Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
