Supplemental-Nurse Technician I
JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Technician I (NT I) is accountable for supporting patient care activities, under the supervision of a registered nurse on inpatient nursing units. The NT I works closely with the charge nurse and staff nurses to assure that patient care needs are met. The NT I performs patient care activities, as delegated, and adheres to patient safety measures. The NT I has basic knowledge of medical terminology and possesses communication, organizational, and computer skills. The NT I demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness.
