Watertown Regional is seeking a LPN for the Senior Behavioral Health Unit
Full Time, Day Shift / .9 FTE - three 12 hours shifts
The Senior Behavioral Health Unit is a 15-bed inpatient psychiatric unit that specializes in treating elderly patients with mental illness. Diagnoses include depression, anxiety, suicide attempts, bipolar and schizophrenia. You will work directly with a hands-on care team that includes registered nurses and mental health technicians, and the extended care team includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, social worker, and recreational therapist.
The Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) is responsible to assist with nursing care of the patient, within an assigned patient care unit. Working under the direction of the physician and/or RN, the LPN provides a variety of patient care, environmental and equipment related services including but not limited to: medication administration, assisting with patient care, observing and documenting illness and/or injury, patient room restocking and maintaining equipment. Will work collaboratively as a part of a patient focused team to provide excellent care and services in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Work Experience
Associate's degree in Practical Nursing Preferred
Licensed as Practical Nurse by the State of Wisconsin
1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility, required.
