Health Information Data Specialist
OverviewThe Health Information Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the electronic medical record. Requires correcting errors identified after the completion of the archive process and corresponding with coding staff to confirm chart completion. Monitor, record and report any trends, results and recommendations relating to accounts put on hold by analysis staff. Responsible for reviewing records for content, preparing and compiling encrypted data disks for the Recovery Audit Contractor submissions. This is a Hybrid Remote position and for coverage needs, if needed, will cover all HIM Departments within system. **Eligible remote states include NC, FL, GA, SC, SD, TN, TX and VA.**
