Utilize your skills and expertise, while growing your career as an Accounts Payable Specialist with our Venice Family Clinic. This position has a fixed hybrid schedule, and once probation and training is completed will require at least 2-days per week of on-site work. With guidance and direction from the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist will:
Support the Accounting Department by performing all duties related to Accounts Payable
Perform reconciliations and assist with audit preparation
Support the integration of AP between two community health centers, post-merger, including the integration of invoice processing workflow, vendor set up, additional locations and transaction coding.
Participate in projects and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $28.30 - $54.74 Hourly. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $28.30 - $32.00 Hourly.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
At least three to five years of Accounts Payable (preferably full-cycle) or general accounting experience.
Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well both independently and with others, and the ability to respond sensitively to clients, staff, and volunteers.
Proficient with web-based technology and Microsoft Office software.
Patience, initiative, and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting procedures experience and ability to work in a fast paced and multi-cultural setting.
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to be accurate and detail-oriented.
Ability to instruct, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages (ability to apply concepts of basic algebra).
