In an acute care setting, a Nursing Assistant (NA) primarily assist patients with basic living activities like bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, while also monitoring vital signs, communicating patient needs to nurses, and providing basic support during treatments or procedures, all under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
