BJC Medical Group is seeking 2 BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a brand new Ambulatory Service Center located on the campus of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. St. Peters, MO, is one of the fastest growing suburbs of St. Louis.
Position Highlights:
- 2 brand new GI Labs
- Typically in the lab 4 days a week, half day clinic
- Support of established gastroenterology teams
- Ample support staff
- No inpatient rounding during the week
- Will assist with weekend call at the hospital, 1:5
- 1:5 weekend call typically averages 5-6 patients

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is a 101-bed community hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, Breast Health and Women’s Center, Cardiology Center, a nationally accredited Sleep and Breathing Lab, and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. The hospital also has a 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, operated by The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis, a joint partnership between BJC HealthCare and HealthSouth Corporation.

Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician?s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
