On behalf of Jon Oden, MD, Section Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), CareerPhysician, the national thought leader in academic pediatric search, is pleased to inform you of the national effort to identify an outstanding pediatric endocrinologist to join Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW), in Springdale, AR.
Opportunity Highlights: • The joining provider will hold a faculty appointment at UAMS and will be afforded significant support in creating a clinic schedule that best suits the needs of the practice and patients while also accounting for the quality of life of the physician. • The incoming provider will have the opportunity to create pathways for niche endocrinology care for children throughout the Northwest region in Arkansas, creating a foundation for comprehensive sub-specialty care through partnerships with Arkansas Children’s and others in the community. • The service line growth plan at ACNW includes creating a comprehensive pediatric endocrinology to include dieticians and social workers, 2.5 FTE physician faculty, advanced practice providers and teaching rotations. The division is positioned to support pediatric endocrinologists with specialty interests in any of the following: lipids, bone health, adrenal conditions, and quality improvement initiatives. • Incoming faculty will have the opportunity to work with learners, including students and residents. • Pediatric endocrinologists benefit from strong ancillary support, including dietary and nutrition, psychology, endocrine trained registered nurses, and medical assistants. • The recruitment package meets eligibility requirements for a $25,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan forgiveness, and a stipend for fellows. J-1 and H-1 visa support is provided to qualified applicants.
