The role you’ll contribute:

The Department Coordinator collaborates with key internal/external stakeholders to fully enable and strengthen the department and its functions across the organization. This position will support assigned project needs in connection with new and existing initiatives as directed by the department leader. The individual must be professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, creative, flexible, and have spiritual/emotional wellness. The individual in this position possesses comprehensive administrative and organizational skills that support multiple priorities as assigned.

•          Coordinate and support all aspects of assigned projects, events, or programs for the diversity and inclusion department
•          Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and events as required.
•         Provide administrative and operational support of the department's implementation and sustainment of Section 1557 regulatory requirements
•         Responds effectively and timely to consumer concerns / complaints in accordance with established SLA guidelines
•         Collaborate with risk management, corporate responsibility, learning team and DEI councils 
•          Communicate with the department leader, team members, and stakeholders to clearly understand project requirements and expectations.
•          Prepare and distribute project-related materials, documents, and reports.
•          Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
•          Assist in budget planning and monitoring for assigned projects.
•          Provide support with maintaining and enhancing the department’s SharePoint site (content, access, design, documents).  
•          Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence and organizing departmental resources.
•          Collaborate with various teams and departments to ensure seamless coordination and partnership.
•          Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

•          Associate degree or equivalent experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

•         Ability to articulate the mission of AdventHealth.
•         Strong organizational skills, with the ability to concentrate on multiple projects simultaneously and re-establish priorities as necessary. Ability to effectively respond to time-sensitive issues and meet deadlines.
•         Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction) while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness.
•         Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all initiatives implemented and all projects undertaken.
•         Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with administrators, team members, vendors, and the community.
•         Windows applications: Microsoft Outlook and other Office 365 applications.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

•          2 years of related experience in Healthcare or Business
