The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the monitor screen of the telemetry console and for identifying and reporting cardiac arrhythmias/dysrhythmias.

· Communicates with courtesy and expediency when interacting with internal or external customers—in person or on the telephone.
· Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in managing patient flow-i.e.: communicates with bed placement and nursing supervisors/CV Coordinators any system or telemetry related issues.
· Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice when ordering supplies and complies with decisions made for staffing adjustments.
· Performs unit tasks supportive to patient care and operations of the department as assigned or requested, including EKGs and lead placement.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School education or equivalent.
· Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
