The role you’ll contribute:
The Equipment Maintenance Representative is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and applying preventive maintenanceto Patient Transport related equipment across the AdventHealth CFD-S Division. Duties involve locating damaged, broken, or defective equipment and prioritizing repairs or maintenance for maximum safety and efficiency. Ascertains that equipment complies with all applicable safety rules, manufacturer recommendations, and any other applicable legal and regulatory healthcare accrediting authorities. Prioritizes assigned tasks and coordinates timely responses to equipment requirements, requests, work orders, emergencies, and management requests. Maintains records of inventory, maintenance, repairs, and required equipment updates or upgrades. Ensures proper par levels are maintained for each individual campus. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Inspect, test, calibrate and repair all Transport related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and hospital protocols using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices.
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with DNV and hospital standards and protocols.
Keep records of inventory, maintenance, repairs, and required updates of equipment.
Own all aspects of Transport related equipment including but limited to serviceability, disposition, and acquisition in accordance with manufacturer and hospital standards.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required:
High School Grad or equivalent and two plus years’ experience
Minimum of (2) years of hospital or mechanical experience.
Customer service experience.
Practical experience repairing equipment.
Driver's License
