Overview:
24 hrs/wk; 8a-5p, 3 days/wk. Billing/Coding Specialist to join team related to Otolaryngology and Dermatology. Primary responsibilities include analyzing medical record to assign billing codes and modifiers, AR follow-up, collections, posting payments and resolving insurance and billing related issues. Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicaid and Commercial insurances required along with knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS. Previous experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting is required. A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in medical coding and billing preferred.
