Description
We are urgently seeking a Student Researcher skilled in image processing, registration, and segmentation. Ideal candidates will have a background in signal processing, bioengineering, physics, computer science, or applied math.
The ideal candidate would be an undergraduate UCLA student.
Salary: $18.00 - $38.50 hourly
Qualifications
Required:
- A proven ability to work independently while following protocols as guideline and to assess situations, problem solve or consult as appropriate, and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent oral communication skills and experience communicating with a diverse population, in order to recruit participants and conduct interviews
- Experience working with a diverse research population.
- Skills in working with colleagues in a cooperative manner.
- Knowledge of basic statistical tests and procedures related to data management and selection of descriptive tests for summarizing data.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations for Human Subject Protection and informed consent.
- Currently registered as a UC student
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience with MatLab, C++, Python, Tensorflow, or similar software
