IU Health is seeking a patient-focused physician to join our inpatient hematology team. Practice locations include IU Health University and Eskenazi Healthin downtown Indianapolis. This is an academic opportunity with clinical components.
Position Highlights:
25% Clinical and 75% Academic
Monday - Friday
Call: 4-6 weekends annually

Position Responsibilities:
Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
Oversee the interdisciplinary team and residents/ medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties
Provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services
Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department
Minimum job requirements
BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
Obtain IN license
MD, DO or equivalent education
