Position Summary
This position will provide daily coordination and leadership for the Newborn Hearing Screeners (NBHS) at birthing hospitals contracted with Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) for newborn screening services and at PCH locations where newborn hearing screening is provided.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Experience
- 2 years of experience as a newborn hearing screener. (Required)
- Experience leading a team. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Eligible to obtain a National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM) certification by start date. (Required)
Special Skills
- Excellent customer service. (Required)
- Patience with new parents. (Required)
- Comfortable handling newborns. (Required)
