Collaborative Environment: Join a dedicated team of 18 radiologists, including 4 Interventional Radiologists, 6 Interventional Radiology technologists, and 7 Interventional Radiology Registered Nurses. Our modern, fully equipped facility allows for the delivery of complex and life-changing interventions for our Veterans.
Diverse Practice: Enjoy a balanced role that includes 50% Interventional Radiology and 50% General Diagnostic Radiology, covering both inpatient and outpatient settings. Diagnostic coverage includes general X-ray, ultrasound, body CT, and body MRI.
Advanced Procedures: Engage in a broad range of image-guided interventions, such as Y-90 radioembolization, prostate artery embolization, and endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease, as well as spinal procedures, biopsies, drainages, and more.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in our facility's weekly vascular conference, genitourinary tumor board, and liver/ GI tumor board to foster a comprehensive approach to patient care. Collaborate with leading specialists in the fields of oncology, surgery, and vascular medicine.
Call Coverage: 1:4 weeks, complemented by resident call support.

Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Completed Residency Training.
Board Certified or Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.

Comprehensive benefits packages, we offer the following:
Competitive Starting Annual Salary: $375,000-$400,000. Additionally, employees may be eligible to receive up to $15,000 in performance-based pay annually. Furthermore, employees can qualify for Proficiency Awards, which are available in addition to Pay for Performance incentives. Regular salary reviews will occur every two years, and all employees will receive cost-of-living adjustments annually.
Continuing Education: As a VA physician, you can earn CME credits at no cost. You can receive $1,000 or more annually and five days of paid absences to attend CME courses (conditions apply).
Paid Time Off: You will receive 208 hours or approximately 26 days of annual leave a year. Unlimited accumulation of paid sick time and 11 paid federal holidays will begin accruing upon entry.
Workers Compensation: Consultation, review, referral, and processing support for all employees regarding work-related injuries and occupational illnesses.
Liability Protection: VA physicians are covered under federal tort laws and may be defended by the United States against allegations of malpractice or negligence.
