Infection Control Practitioner II
Job Description POSITION SUMMARYUnder limited supervision, plans, coordinates and conducts essential infection prevention & control duties. This includes conducting infection surveillance, analyzing data for trends and presentation of data to appropriate committees, participating in outbreak investigations, providing related education to staff, and maintaining relevant policies and procedures. Partners with the unit or department leaders to identify, prioritize and address areas of improvement around infection prevention. Participates in the orientation and mentoring of new IP staff,and provide coverage for the Director in his/her absence.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
