BJC Marketing and Communications is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Communications Strategist to lead internal communications for our enterprise corporate departments, including Finance, Human Resources, employee engagement initiatives, and more. We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-oriented individual to lead the development and management of comprehensive internal communication strategies. This role is important in fostering a connected, informed, and engaged workforce across a wide range of workplace environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, communication planning, change management, and employee engagement within large, matrixed organizations. Excellent writing and superior interpersonal skills are required. This is a remote opportunity; ideal candidates should be available for in-person meetings as frequently as monthly.

Role Purpose
Provides strategic guidance and project management in support of BJC HealthCare and/or hospital brand, strategy and reputation. Provides direction, consultation and guidance to Communication and Marketing leadership across a broad scope that may include multiple job functions and/or HSOs. Promotes and protects the brand; advances the communication and marketing, and community education strategies on behalf of BJC HealthCare, its hospitals and services. Responsible for comprehensive planning, coordination and tactical execution of project initiatives in collaboration with BJC leadership, Communication & Marketing team leaders and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Strengthens the BJC brand through marketing and communications platforms, channels and vehicles. Leverages marketing and communications best practices to initiate and develop more effective and efficient channels and tools.
Proven track record of proficiency in responsibilities of functional role(s), including technical skills and processes.
Integrates current change management concepts and strategies into all employee communication and marketing deliverables.
Manages and fulfills daily functional operations to meet project timelines and requirements.
Analyzes functional challenges and provides appropriate strategic counsel to achieve department and/or HSO goals.
