AACI's Center for Survivors of Torture works with asylees and refugees from all over the world. We are committed to providing culturally sensitive, client-centered, and specialized services. Our approach is multidisciplinary, holistic, and strengths-based, encompassing services such as individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychological and medical evaluations for political asylum cases, as well as social and legal support.
Join our team as a Behavioral Health Counselor and make a meaningful impact on the lives of Asylee and Refugee populations. You'll be at the forefront, delivering direct behavioral health services in diverse settings like homes, clinics, and field environments. Your role will involve conducting transformative individual and group therapy sessions, alongside providing crucial case management services.
Salary Range $84,856.00 - $95,000.00

Licensed in California as a Marriage Family Therapist, Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist.
Master's degree in social work or psychology; or equivalent education, training, and experience.
One year or more of direct clinical experience working with working with refugees.
