We are seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician who is board eligible/board certified in Adult Palliative care to join as a full time attending. SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Palliative Care Program provides high quality consultative Palliative Care across various inpatient and outpatient settings. We have over 25 faculty and staff on our consultation teams. Our intradisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and chaplains. We provide direct patient care along with a significant teaching effort for all staff, students, and providers. We are an enthusiastic and supportive team that has grown and thrived for over twenty years. Highlights of This Position:
SUNY Upstate Medical University Faculty Appointment. Workdays: Monday through Friday daytime hours with rotating on-call
Clinical teaching opportunities with our medical students along with residents and fellows across numerous specialties
Various clinical settings in our tertiary hospital, community hospital, and Ambulatory Cancer Center
Unique embedded palliative teams in both the Medical and Neurology ICUs

Minimum Qualifications:
MD or foreign equivalent, BC/BE in Internal Medicine, NYS license or eligible.
Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship trained in Palliative Care
