The Surgical - Heart Failure: ICU step down specializes in heart failure management requiring LVAD, heart transplantation, and medical management of heart failure conditions. Staff provides ventilator support, invasive monitoring, inotrope/vasopressor titration, and advanced renal replacement therapies.
Our high acuity patient volume allows for low nurse-patient ratios promoting safety and satisfaction of patients, families, and staff.
Our interdisciplinary team provides patients with the very latest evidence-based practice and most advanced technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This job requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/peds health.
