Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in primary care and a genuine passion for assisting individuals in their weight loss journey. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with our physician and other healthcare professionals in a multi-location setting, servicing our offices in Troy and Albany, New York.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, with a focus on weight loss management and metabolic health.
Provide ongoing education, counseling, and support to patients regarding nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and other pertinent aspects of weight loss.
Collaborate closely with our physician and interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, with a strong preference for candidates with prior exposure to weight loss management or related fields.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate patients in their health journey.
Dedication to providing patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and respect.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while independently managing a diverse caseload.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
St. Peter's Health Partners offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:
Competitive salary including $5,000 starting bonus
Compensation is between $120,000 and $130,000
The posted salary reflects the starting rand of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
