Working within the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center's Project Management Office (IIRC PMO), the Administrative Coordinator II is responsible for the coordination and implementation of administrative functions for the IIRC PMO. The IIRC PMO is responsible for the overall coordination and management of complex clinical trials and clinical research opportunities from early partnerships to trial open. The Administrative Coordinator provides overall meeting support including scheduling and minutes, serves as a department liaison with internal and external partners, orders department supplies, and assists with other projects. This position requires excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Seattle, WA location. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the IIRC PMO including:

Job Duties:

• Provide meeting support including meeting scheduling, minutes, distribution of agendas and reminders, and calendar management for IIRC PMO team.
• Meetings include cross-functional project team meetings, external partner/biotech site visits, and other team events.
• Act as a liaison with Fred Hutch staff and outside individuals/organizations, answering questions and resolving problems; maintain the IIRC PMO inbox. Maintain productive, positive relationships with other Fred Hutch departments, funding sources, affiliated individuals or institutions, and outside organizations in all communications.
• Support department with onboarding and offboarding staff.
• Perform other administrative tasks including order supplies, maintain IIRC PMO Teams and SharePoint Sites, and support Director in tracking and reporting strategic plan goals.
• Assist with special projects.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Administrative Coordinator II:

• Requires High School/GED and six years of administrative or relevant experience OR equivalent education/experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in an healthcare, academic, research, or clinical setting.
• Strong computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly effective team player and excellent communicator with an ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, scientists, and executives with diverse information needs and communications preferences.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $30.30 to $45.43 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
