As theMRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imagingprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require anin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a highdegree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. Youwill also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properlyscreen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.You will:
- Ensure accurate processing ofradiology orders
- Maintain accurate up-to-date recordsof procedures performed
- Operate a variety ofpost-processing/3D workstations
- Perform accurate image archival
- Prepare and administer paramagneticcontrast media
- Sensitively handle physical andemotional needs of the patient
SalaryRange: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

- Venipuncturecertificate - required
- BCLSfrom American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
- Graduatefrom a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
- AA or BS - preferred
- At least 1 year of MRI experience -preferred
- Siemensexperience - preferred
- Abilityto adapt to advancements and changing technologies
- Abilityto identify contraindications for exams
- Excellentcommunication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
- Familiaritywith clinical billing (IDX codes)
- Knowledgeof human anatomy and pathology
