The Project Policy Analyst provides oversight of midsize to largeteams, guiding the planning, development, and execution of all operations tomeet the mission and goals of the program/project. Responsible for producingdeliverables, planning and coordination, strategic planning, communication,supervision, training, financial oversight, and grant writing. Manages allprogram/project activities, work independently and collaboratively, includingwith external partners, in a fast-paced environment. Ensures effectivecommunication, supervises staff, and ensures compliance with UCLA, state, andfederal regulations.
UCLA Health annual salary range for this position is $92,600.00- $202,200.00.Please note that the department's target annual pay range is $92,600.00- $121,400.00
Required:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ yearsof directly relevant experience.
- Abilityto work independently and also have interpersonal skills to work with teams,provide training, and supervise staff 1+ years' experience of supervisinglaboratory personnel and operations.
- Exceptionalwriting skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables.
- Experiencecommunicating effectively and professionally and working with a variety ofinternal and external partners, including UCLA administrators, outside funders,policy makers and community representatives.
- Strongorganizational skills to successfully work on and track complex programsinvolving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with multipleteams to achieve program/project mission and goals.
- Workingknowledge of program/project development, evaluation, creating datasets,financial management and reporting, research principles including CITI training,grant writing and proposal submission, University procedures and policies,program/project related federal and state regulations.
- Abilityto seek out and learn new policies, procedures, and software to advance themission of the program/project.
- Abilityto train new program/project managers and other staff within and external tothe unit.
