You will serve in a dual role as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Sr. CRC) and Clinical Research Supervisor for the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. As a Sr. CRC, you will be working directly with Investigators and study teams in managing studies and overseeing the daily operations of the OCR-CSE Clinical Research Coordinator Team. The Sr. CRC Lead independently coordinates and is accountable for the overall administration of multiple clinical studies and the supervision of the CRC Team, typically requiring advanced-level knowledge and skills.The Sr. CRC Lead may provide leadership to lower-level clinical research coordinators and/or other support personnel. As the CRC Supervisor, you will supervise a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, provide ongoing training and education, assess workload, including assignment of new study responsibilities, monitor CRC performance metrics, ensure study tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, support staff accountability, and empower the team to encourage quality of work. The CRC Supervisor will be responsible for managing the Clinical Research Coordinator Scope of Work and developing study specific scope and cost estimates. The CRC Supervisor will have general oversight of all CRC Team services including but not limited to: subject recruitment, study management, visit management, participant management, regulatory maintenance, and financial management support, as assigned through study specific and portfolio statements of work.

Qualifications
Required:
5 plus year clinical research senior administrative experience.
Certification through SOCRA or ACRP.
Bachelor's Degree in science or a related field, Master's Degree preferred.
Possess demonstrated ability to lead and supervise others.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills required.
Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Considerable knowledge of scientific principles and research methodology
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of human subject research ethics
Working knowledge of data management tools
Experience with electronic systems - CTMS and EMR
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to obtain and convey information clearly, accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to compose and create logical and grammatically correct correspondence.
Excellent word processing skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow through on a task involving a myriad of steps and which must be approved at various levels before leading to completion.
Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision and set priorities in order to meet varying demands, changes in priorities and competing deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff members, medical center employees and physicians.
The ability to represent the Department in a professional and positive manner.
Ability to be versatile and accommodate new tasks as needed.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access software programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents and files.
Excellent organizational skills.
Working knowledge of federal, state, local and institutional regulations that govern clinical trials; ability to communicate successfully both written and verbal to a diverse population; excellent communication skills.
