The Senior Manager of IT Business Planning and Operations reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Centrus Health and leads the design, implementation, and coordination of the IT annual planning cycle, facilitates, and analyzes IT division/region performance & process standardization, and provides strategic analysis of division-wide IT-enabled business strategies.
The position will work at the direction of the CEO in the analysis and facilitation of optimizing internal and regional IT operations. The Senior Manager will act as a program manager and support the development of key strategies both divisionally and companywide. This includes analyzing existing processes, researching technologies, creating standardized processes, and developing new alternatives to simplify, standardize, and optimize IT operations and services.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Lead stakeholder (internal and when appropriate external) IT planning and strategy meetings.
Evaluate and assess new IT requests to determine appropriate course of action in context of strategic IT initiatives, current software standards, and existing Centrus Health policies and procedures.
Research and analyze new technology solutions and compile work product to support the IT decision-making process.
Develop customer-specific IT strategies into roadmaps and work plans for appointed areas utilizing various tools.
Lead and manage the IT operations performance review process and programs including researching viable key performance indicators, compile performance dashboards, and work with IT leadership in the optimization of internal operations.
At the direction of the Centrus Health executive team, serves as a liaison between the office of the Division CIO and Regional CIOs.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor Degree is required in Business or Information Technology
A minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively responsible health care positions.
Experience in a multi-layered, matrixed environment
Technical strategic thinking/planning and vision setting
Results oriented management style
Ability to effectively lead and communicate IT Strategies and programs with Senior Leadership
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master's Degree in Business or Information Technology
