SALARY:
$79,200 to $89,900+ per year, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities
Supervise IRR staff.
Maintains current and accurate Institutional Snapshot data and serves as the primary contact for data analysis and federal and state reporting.
Develop, collect, manage, and distribute a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative institutional data to inform and support the ongoing planning processes of the University.
In collaboration with IT business partners, lead the university’s data governance, architecture, and strategy development to build a sustainable, functioning infrastructure.
As a member of RVU’s Federal Compliance Task Force, the manager assists the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and other colleagues in completing Annual Institutional Update reports and periodic Federal Compliance Reports as required by the Higher Learning Commission. Provide executive summaries of institutional data findings for stakeholders including the Leadership Council, President, and Board of Trustees as requested.
Manage and adjust systems to ensure data flow, accuracy, and accessibility to consumers and users. Lead efforts to transform institutional data from multiple sources into easily understandable, accurate, actionable visual presentations and perform learning analytics to support evidence-informed decision-making by a variety of stakeholders.
Create and contribute to institutional effectiveness and accreditation reports in collaboration with the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness (VPIE). Prioritize projects and data requests in alignment with mission-centered priorities.
Compile and coordinate the timely collection of appropriate and accurate institutional data to fulfill state and federal reporting requirements and to respond to requests from other external agencies, organizations, or individuals (e.g., IPEDS, SURDS, and other agency requirements).
Conduct cyclical institutional surveys as the needs of the institution and its programs may merit, ensuring review and approval by senior and program leadership as appropriate. Convert output into meaningful results for evidence-informed decision-making.
Conduct analyses of institutional assessment and evaluation data to provide evidence of continuous quality improvement, strategic goal attainment, and institutional performance
Provide support for strategic planning, institutional accreditation, and institutional assessment and evaluation processes.
Assist faculty and staff in identifying appropriate data collection methods, policies, and procedures to ensure reliable, appropriate, and legal use of institutional and personally identifiable information.
Serve as the primary institutional data steward to fulfill requests for institutional data and/or reports.
Gather and report institutional key performance indicator (KPI) performance data to complete annual balanced scorecard reports.
Ensure timely, accurate, and accessible reports, visualizations, dashboards, trainings, etc. for program and institutional leadership.
Establish and implement data mapping methodologies to include collection and reporting cycles and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Demonstrate ability to rapidly understand, adopt, and work with multiple software programs that collect and analyze data, and ability to conduct internal and external research to create data sets and metrics that inform decision-making.
Perform other duties as assigned.
