Patient Population: Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. **No open hearts, CABG, or ECMO. This is a true Cardiac ICU- CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc.
Required Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum of 2 year(s) recent, full time Cardiac ICU and/or Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU RN experience.
Shift: FT/Nights | 7p-7a | Three 12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends
Patient Ratios: 1:1 ICU and 1:4 Tele

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What You'll Do
- You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
- Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
- Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues.
- You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.
- Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
- You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
- Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth. Contribute to peers' development, show community service commitment.
What Will Make You Successful in The Role
- A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.
- Know nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area. Understand hospital procedures and rules.

Qualifications
- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- A current and valid nursing license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
- Candidates MUST have minimum of 2 year(s) recent, full time Cardiac ICU and/or Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU RN experience.
