Summary:
This position is responsible for providing respiratory therapy, under medical direction, in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sets-up Respiratory Care equipment on a daily basis and after being used for patient care
- Monitors supplies and forms in Cardiopulmonary Department as needed
- Ensures all Respiratory Care areas throughout the facility are properly stocked with supplies and equipment, at all times
- Participates in educational activities to further his/her knowledge of Respiratory Care needs
- Assist in coverage for EKG as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred.
