The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking Abdominal Imaging Radiologists for faculty positions. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of abdominal and pelvic imaging, including diagnostic CT, MRI, ultrasound, as well as image-guided biopsies. Experience and interest in Maternal Fetal Imaging would be an additional preferred skill. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Hospitals at the Parnassus and Mission Bay campus, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.
The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in Abdominal Imaging. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment.

This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan](https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
